Richard Pikesley RWS NEAC
Born in London, he trained at Canterbury College of Art and the University of London, exhibiting at the Royal Academy since his graduation. His inspiration is drawn from the coastline near his Dorset home and frequent travels in France and Italy. Exhibiting at the Discerning Eye on several occasions, he won the Chairman’s Prize the year he was Ken Howard’s choice. He has been a finalist at the Hunting and at the Singer & Friedlander art prizes and is a regular contributor to the art press. His work is represented in many collections, notably St John's College, Cambridge, Hambro's Bank, SG Warburg plc, the Crown Estates and Lord Bath’s 'Wessex' Collection at Longleat. He currently serves on the executive committee of the New English Art Club.
